Soon after I had launched the project and it was in full swing, illustrator Tinhead sent me a postcard. So several months ago I was living in Beijing, with my very talented friend Jocelyn McGregor, at the Red Gate Gallery Studios. Her studio was an hour outside the centre in the village of Feijiacun near the artist districts of Caochangdi and 798. I’d love to go back one day, China is a magical country. Now I spend my time between Birmingham where the majority of my time is spent in my studio, and London where I intern for CubeFuture Project Space, a newly opened gallery near Spitalfields.
